Weekly Residential

• To set up weekly residential garbage pick-up call the City Offices at 712-551-2565.
• If you have extra items you need picked up, call Orange City Sanitation 712-737-2645 to arrange it.

Commercial/Residential Dumpster Service

Garbage Collection Routes

• Mondays will be everything East of Central Ave.
• Tuesdays will be Central Ave and everything West.
• Wednesdays will be Recycling pickup.

Recycling Routes

• 1st & 3rd Wednesdays: Central Ave and everything West.
• 2nd & 4th Wednesdays: East of Central Ave.
• Free Recycling Stickers, to put on your recycling can, are available at the City Offices, 1150 Central Ave.

Household Hazardous Materials

• The City of Hawarden has a drop-off once a year for household hazardous materials (HHM), usually in the spring.
