Candy Cane Christmas Break

Attention! Exciting Christmas break event for all ages at the Prairie Woods Nature Center on Friday, December 30th. Join us for live animal programs at 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, 2:30pm; your family will be challenged to find items on a self-guided walk on a marked trail (you can choose from three levels of difficulty); return to the nature center for hot refreshments and candy canes. There will also be voting for your favorite school Christmas tree in the Conservation Corner Meeting Room, with a “special challenge” for you in the exhibits.  Even the live animals have decorated their cages for Christmas! Special sneak peek at our new education barred owl outside of the center. Join us anytime between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm.
