Municipal Utilities -
Owned by the People We Serve

Automatic Payment Option now available.

Our utilities are owned by the public, the "people we serve."

Tom Kane, The Superintendent of Public Works provides the supervision and along with Jason Metten, the City Administrator advise the city council which has final oversight of all the utilities.

The community utilities are serviced by a crews of three electricians, two gas employees and two water/sewer employees. We strive to cross train and provide support and assistance to every department during times of necessity.

We currently contract the Garbage service, but the fees and quality are under the elected officials of the city council.
