Retail Refrigerator	$50.00	Must be Energy Star appliance rated. In order to receive the rebate the customer must have a receipt from the local appliance recycler. The city will pay for the disposal costs.
Residential Refrigerator	$50.00	Must be Energy Star appliance rated. In order to receive the rebate the customer must have a receipt from the local appliance recycler. The city will pay for the disposal costs.
Residential Freezer	$25.00	Must be Energy Star appliance rated. In order to receive the rebate the customer must have a receipt from the local appliance recycler. The city will pay for the disposal costs.
Retail Light	$10.00	2-tube fixtures with electronic ballasts
Manufacturing Lights	$10.00	2-tube fixtures with electronic ballasts

The rebate program starts July 1, 2006, and will run through June 30, 2007, or until all funding is gone.
All items must be purchased in Hawarden and a sales receipt is needed showing the item, the efficiency rating, the cost, and where it was purchased.
The rebate is given in script money.
It cannot be used toward utility billings.
