Middle School & High School Activities
During the winter months the recreation department sponsors many teen nights at Sportsmans Lanes in Hawarden. Usually the middle school students come from 6-9 p.m. and the high school students from 9-midnight. A cover charge at the door includes food, pop, bowling, pool, & darts. A few of the nights we had different entertainment like sumo wrestling and some young teen bands. A lot of the students in the community take advantage of these activities. The turn out had ranged from 40 to 175 students. Contact the Rec. Dept. for future dates.
