Coilcraft, Inc.Growing with the new technology, Coilcraft started in Hawarden many years ago as a factory producing wire wound surface mount chip inductors. As the need for coils tapered off, the people at Coilcraft have adopted to the times and now produce components for many of today's appliances, cell phones, computers and pagers. Coilcraft completed a major construction effort to increase warehouse, shipping and production areas of the plant. |

LG EveristThe Hawarden area sits on one giant sandbox and LG Everist has been in the area utilizing this natural resource. Hundreds of tons of rock, sand and gravel are removed from the ground, sorted, cleaned and sent by truck and rail to construction and road work around the tri-state area. |
