Dunbrooke Industries
The Hawarden Production plant for Dunbrooke Industries started life as K-Products, Inc, then American Identity. Over 120 people are employed at Dunbrooke Industries.
Coilcraft, Inc.
Growing with the new technology, Coilcraft started in Hawarden many years ago as a factory producing wire wound surface mount chip inductors. As the need for coils tapered off, the people at Coilcraft have adopted to the times and now produce components for many of today's appliances, cell phones, computers and pagers.
Coilcraft completed a major construction effort to increase warehouse, shipping and production areas of the plant.
LG Everist
The Hawarden area sits on one giant sandbox and LG Everist has been in the area utilizing this natural resource. Hundreds of tons of rock, sand and gravel are removed from the ground, sorted, cleaned and sent by truck and rail to construction and road work around the tri-state area.
Timber Root
A new addition to the Hawarden Economy, Timber Root started life in 1992 as Plumb Building. Plumb's was purchased and now as TimberRoot provides engineered truss rafters and floor joists for home, business and remodeling.
