The Council Meeting was called to order at 12:17 p.m.

Present: Mayor Porter, Council Members Anderson, Hedden, Cauwels, Borchers, Jacobs.

Absent:  None

Staff Present: Jason Metten, City Administrator/City Clerk; Chris Myres, Economic Development Director.

Staff Absent: None

Agenda Items

1. Discussion and direction of potential development projects to be undertaken during Fiscal Years 2007-2010. Various development options were outlined and opinions were heard concerning potential development projects including: Potential for a new dentist office in Hawarden, rehabilitating or demolishing Old City Hall and the installation of infrastructure and a spec building within the Hawarden South Industrial Park. The allotted time for the meeting passed and it was agreed that more discussion was necessary and another meeting would be set to discuss these projects further in the very near future.

Moved by Cauwels/Jacobs to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously. Council Meeting adjourned at 1:23 p.m.
