The Council Meeting was called to order at 12:05 p.m.
Present: Mayor Ric Porter; Council Members: Cauwels, Lubkeman, Woodley, Harvey.
Absent: Councilman Nohava
Staff Present: Tom Kane, Public Works Director; Chris Myres, Telecommunications Director; Mike DeBruin, Police Chief; Brad Meyers, Ambulance Director.
Staff Absent: Sharole Rens, Finance Officer.
Item 1. Request for Temporary License Transfer of Class C Liquor License to the Old City Hall for September 6, 2003 - Request from Brian Engleman dba as the Sportsman’s Lounge. Moved by Cauwels/Woodley to approve the temporary liquor license for Sportsman’s Lanes to the Old City Hall on September 6, 2003. Motion carried unanimously.
Item 2. Preliminary Design of City Hall/Community Center (Review of Preliminary Layout with Dale McKinney, Architect). Dale McKinney, from In Vision Architects, was present to review the preliminary design of the City Hall/Community Center with the Council and discussed some of the revisions being made.
Moved by Cauwels/Woodley to adjourn. The Special Council Meeting adjourned at 2:00 p.m.
