The Special Council Meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m.
Present: Mayor, Ricard Porter; Council Members: Cauwels, Lubkeman, Nohava, Woodley, Harvey
Absent: None.
Staff Present: Craig Coffey, City Administrator; Tom Kane, Public Works Director; Chris Myres, Telecommunications Director; Sharole Rens, Finance Officer; Brad Meyers, Ambulance Director; Jami Dekkers, Activity Director; Pat DeSutter, Administrative Assistant.
Staff Absent: Jim Pickner, City Attorney.
Guests Present: Mr. Dale McKinney, Architect; Sky Eilers, Hawarden Independent Reporter
Item 1. Discussion of Plans for New City Hall/Community Center. Mr. Dale McKinney from In-Vision Architecture was present to go over the City Hall/Community Center plans with the Council and staff. Some of the items discussed were the set of stairs to the 2nd floor, the customer service area, the second floor offices and Council Chambers, storage areas and the east entrance to the Community Center. He agreed to work on revisions to the plan and send copies for Council review.
Moved by Jeff Nohava to adjourn the meeting. The Council meeting adjourned at 5:10 p.m.
