The Special Council Meeting was called to order at 12:00 Noon.
Present: Woodley, Lubkeman, Cauwels.
Absent: Mayor Porter; Councilmen: Nohava, Harvey.
Staff Present: Sharole Rens, Finance Officer
Staff Excused: Craig Coffey, City Administrator; Chris Myres, Telecommunications Director; Mike DeBruin, Police Chief, Tom Kane, Public Works Director; James Pickner, City Attorney.
Mayor Pro-Tem, Cauwels conducted the meeting.

Item 1. Request for Renewal of Class C Liquor License With Outdoor Sales and Sunday Sales for the Hawarden Golf Course for 6 Months. A request by Sportsman’s Lounge, Inc. dba Hawarden Golf Course, Owners Brian and Karen Engleman, and located at 4502 Buchanan to renew their license. All the paper work is completed and in order. Moved by Lubkeman/Woodley to approve the Class “C” Liquor License with Outdoor Sales and Sunday Sales from April 4, 2003 to October 4, 2003, for the Hawarden Golf Course. Motion carried unanimously.
Item 2. Request for Temporary License Transfer of Class C Liquor License to the Old City Hall for April 5, 2003. Moved by Woodley/Lubkeman to approve the temporary Liquor License Transfer from Brian Engleman dba as the Hawarden Golf Course to the Old City Hall on April 5, 2003. Motion carried unanimously.
At 12:14 p.m., moved by Woodley/Lubkeman to adjourn the Special Council Meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
