The meeting was called to order and opened at 6:30p.m. by Mayor Pro-Tem Kallsen.
Present: Council members: Dorhout, Cauwels, Harvey, Kallsen, Woodley
Staff Present: Craig Coffey, City Administrator;
Other Present: Annette Johnson, Director, Wee Care; Todd Ericson, Chairman, Community Center Committee, Rick Porter, and about 12 other concerned citizens.
The only item on the agenda was introduced and turned over to the City Administrator to conduct the meeting.
1. Public Hearing and Workshop/Discussion with Architects on Community Center/Care Facility
Informational handouts prepared by the architects were provided to the Council and guests. The meeting then progressed following the schedule below:
Staff briefly discussed some of the City's financial information and some options for how to pay for such a project.
At approximately 8 pm the public hearing was opened. Two members said they were pleased with the plans and spoke in favor of saving the middle school. The public hearing was closed.
At 8:50 p.m., by general consent the meeting was adjourned.
