SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Hawarden Public Library
Wednesday, January 26, 2000 at 7:00 P.M.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

Present: Mayor Jacobs, Council Members: Kallsen, Dorhout, Harvey, Cauwels, Woodley

Staff Present: Craig Coffey, City Administrator/Clerk; Patty Anderson, HITEC Director; Mike DeBruin, Police Chief.

1. Budget Workshop.

   The City Administrator presented a draft of the budgets for Telecommunication Administration, Cable, and Telephone. Questions and discussion took place about the draft budgets. No items were finally resolved.

2. Closed Session (if necessary) to discuss proprietary information regarding telecommunications.

   The closed session was not utilized. No public was present and no formal actions were taken at the meeting.

The meeting was adjourned unanimously by consent at 8:20 p.m.
