Calliope Medicine

THE MEDICAL BUILDING: Calliope did not have a physician for many years. W.C. Walton died following a hunting accident waiting for the doctor to arrive. Pharmacists were the first medical professionals in town, but doctors soon followed. This building houses items, which show early practice of medicine and dentistry.
