Summer Activities
Summer Rec Program
This program offers baseball and softball for boys and girls in K- 5th grade and golf for 5th – 8th grade students. The season runs for 6 weeks beginning the end of May. This program offers daily practices, weekly league games, tournaments, and a fun and safe environment for the kids. Pre-registration and fee is required.

T-Ball
4 & 5 year olds
When: Monday nights beginning in June;
Time: 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Where: High School Fields
1 Parent/Adult must accompany each child playing.
No charge or registration required for t-ball.
Golf
Golf for 5th – 8th grade boys and girls.
Baseball and Softball for Young and Old

BASEBALL & SOFTBALL
Kindergarten – 5th Grade Boys and Girls.
$20 fee.
PeeWee League: Kindergarten and 1st Grade
Little League: 2nd and 3rd grade
Junior League: 4th – 5th grade
Practices will be held on Mondays & Wednesdays and games on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Baseball & softball schedules will be handed out in school closer to date.
Registration forms can also be picked up at the City offices or at the West Sioux Schools

$1.00 Lap Swim (Monday-Friday from 12:00-1:00 & 5:30-6:30 in June & July only)
*Wading pool is free
*Someone 14 or older must supervise children under 7.

These passes are valid for 2 weeks only.
All passes may be purchased at the city offices or the swimming pool.
Swimming Lessons
The Hawarden swimming pool offers swimming lessons for Levels 1 – 5.
Registration forms can be picked up at West Sioux Schools or Hawarden City Offices.
Class sessions:
Levels 4 & 5 are held in June for 2 weeks and
Levels 1-3 are held in July for 2 weeks.
Cost of lessons is $20 for Hawarden in-city-limit residents and $25 for non-residents.
